Ela aproveita as propriedades de difra\u00e7\u00e3o dos raios X por um cristal para obter informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a disposi\u00e7\u00e3o dos \u00e1tomos no arranjo tridimensional. Essa t\u00e9cnica \u00e9 fundamental para entender a estrutura at\u00f4mica e molecular de subst\u00e2ncias cristalinas, incluindo compostos org\u00e2nicos e inorg\u00e2nicos, minerais, prote\u00ednas, pol\u00edmeros, entre outros.<\/p><p>A difratometria de raios X envolve o uso de um difrat\u00f4metro, um dispositivo que emite raios X monocrom\u00e1ticos e mede os \u00e2ngulos e intensidades dos feixes difratados.
